na tasya jāyatē kvāpi bhayaṁ śambhōranugrahāt || 2 ||

kṣīṇāyuḥ prāptamr̥tyurvā mahārōgahatō:’pi vā |
sadyaḥ sukhamavāpnōti dīrghamāyuśca vindati || 3 ||

sarvadāridryaśamanaṁ saumāṅgalyavivardhanam |
yō dhattē kavacaṁ śaivaṁ sa dēvairapi pūjyatē || 4 ||

mahāpātakasaṅghātairmucyatē cōpapātakaiḥ |
dēhāntē muktimāpnōti śivavarmānubhāvataḥ || 5 ||

tvamapi śraddhayā vatsa śaivaṁ kavacamuttamam |
dhārayasva mayā dattaṁ sadyaḥ śrēyō hyavāpsyasi || 6 ||

ityuktvā r̥ṣabhō yōgī tasmai pārthivasūnavē |

punaśca bhasma saṁmantrya tadaṅgaṁ paritō:’spr̥śat |
gajānāṁ ṣaṭsahasrasya dviguṇasya balaṁ dadau || 8 ||
